WebApr 22, 2024 · The base for my cam is 10 degrees. On the controller keypad I typed in this number under "Ignition Setup - Distributor Base Timing". After cranking over the engine and using a timing light I matched the reported timing from the controller display to what I know I set my timing at. From there the FiTech was able to control timing.

A while after we got the truck running, it started idling high. I diagnosed the problem as likely being the iac motor, and fitech sent a new one. The problem went away for several months, but now it's back.
