My guess is if you just use it for everyday wear and clean it semi regularly, youll be fine, but if you use it while active and subject it to sweat, dirt, etc, as one would suspect, it will start to yellow rather quickly. WebVirtually nothing will remove yellowing. What I do is use Rit Dyemore and "freshen" the look, or give it a new look. If yours was pure clear, you can likely go any color. With jelly bands, they take dye VERY quickly, in seconds. Pour hot water in a bowl, use half a teaspoon of dye, and dip in 5-10 second intervals.
