And it is legal to convert it back. You cannot make an existing rifle into a pistol. It would become a Short Barrel Rifle once you change the barrel or the stock. =====

At the price for the CZ though you could buy one of each cal 17 and 22 and it is cheaper than buying the Sako. They list the proper torque for all screws on the 10/22. My 10/22 came from the factory complete with a loose scope rail. The most common 'issue' that often occurs when putting in an aftermarket barrel is that trying to put the end of the barrel into the receiver is often very, very tight.
